We popped in here after exploring the castle, felt a little under dressed The food was amazing, atmosphere was wonderful, the service was great! My kids said "it's the best restaurant they've ever been too" Definitely suggest a reservation. All tables were reserved for dinner but there was a high top table that he seated us at. Which was totally fine. We were just happy to be able to enjoy a meal there

The location and food are incredible. I had the burger, which was juicy and flavorful. We also had some vegetarian dishes and they were really good as well. Our group was extremely satisfied with the taste, presentation and quantity of food. The service was good but not great. Overall I’d recommend this highly.

A Wonderful Midle age Castle with Ruine but nice preserved for Tourist is the most Anventure we experience.The best Restaurant we visit in this place were we was.For me 5 Star Restaurant and very Friendly Staff.

Well, after a beautiful visit to Hohenbaden Castle, a break at Altes Schloss Restaurant is a must. Near the gate of the castle with a beautiful view of Baden Baden from above, you can have a coffee or a quick bite, depending on your next stop. Good food, good service, great atmosphere, and affordable prices. Enjoy...

We went back twice in the same week! The waiter is sooo nice, we had a lot of fun. I had the tofu and it was amazing! I had to have this dish again so we went back today. Also the restaurant is in a castleruin and the view is tremendous!

We just had a coffee each and was still made to feel very welcome, we wish we was hungry as the menu looked very inviting. And very reasonably priced too. Lovely interior for dining with great surroundings too. Even a nice secluded room for a more intimate dining experience. Well worth a visit.

Excellent service and food. Really attentive staff! The food was delicious, and the drinks were well selected and tasty. I think in the daytime, you have a beautiful view over Baden-Baden . Highly recommended

Stunning restaurant located right in the start of the castle. The best tips is make sure you call and book or check if they are open, as they are booked privately for many private functions. You can park right by the castle, so don’t think you need to walk the whole way up. It’s worth driving up to the closest parking lot and taking a look at that space. The castle isn’t the only attraction. There are also amazing viewpoints. So make sure to have a look at the map and try to get the whole way around.
